People Get Real
Since 2002 Simon Lister and Peter Wilson aka People Get Real have been consistently and thoroughly bringing their brand of dance-floor terrorism to parties in their native Newcastle, across the UK and beyond. 2011 also saw them launch their own “Join Our Club” imprint, which has seen them release not only their own productions but also from It’s a Fine Line, Tom Ellis, Eskimo Twins and more.

Beardyman
It seems almost silly trying to justify this mans successes in a paragraph, but here we go: Darren Foreman was, is and always will be at the forefront of the worlds beatboxing scene. In his live shows, as well as baffllingly good solo human-beatbox, he utilzes cutting-edge sound-mangling technology to create dance-inducing layered rhythms, breath-taking soundscapes, fully produced songs and tunes, all improvised and created entirely from the human voice.

Label boss and superstar producer, Boys Noize has released records on a glut of labels including Kitsuné Music, Turbo Records International DeeJay Gigolos and created EPs under various names 909d1sco and Kid Alex. Brodinski
Now at the top of his game, with monumental support over the years from Erol Alkan, Tiga and Soulwax, Brodinski is one of the most exciting DJs and producers to explode onto the scene in recent years. His lascivious taste in music encompasses techno, bass heavy house through to more melodic minimal and disco.
Cassy
Cassy moved to Berlin in 2003 and being inspired by the club scene and music, she worked with artists such as Ricardo Villalobos and Steve Bug and has also had releases on Perlon Records. Recently she started her own label Cassy, She regularly spins at the Panoramabar in Berlin. Cassy is not to be missed!
Death On The Balcony
For some time now the combined forces of Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves have been causing quite a stir under their guise, Death on the Balcony. Their unique style fuses a range of influences from Disco, House to Deep Techno and everything in-between depending on the time, space and environment. Years of dedicated musical passion and an eclectic appreciation of numerous genres have lead to their sound becoming perfected and receiving huge popularity across the board. Dekker
A firm fixture on London's underground club circuit, playing regular sets at Fabric Live and other scene-defining parties, including Bugged Out!, Always Fridays, and his own Apocalypso night. Dekker's sets are made up of all varieties of house & techno, elements of acid, garage, funky and UK bass and a plethora of fresh productions and edits, all mixed with his trademark panache.
Diplo
Known internationally as a curator amongst the world’s most cutting edge DJs, producers, and musical movements Wesley Pentz (better known as DIPLO) has experienced a variety of successes. The last few years have been spent running through the club circuit and having chart-topping hits with refreshing irreverence, not to mention his new regular slot "Diplo And Friends" on the UK's biggest station, Radio One.
Dixon
When Dixon entered the Berlin club circuit in the early 90's, he established his name on the strength of DJing, working his way into Resident Advisor’s top 10 DJs in the world in 2009. Dixon has come a long way since helping found the Innervisions imprint in 2005. Sure, he’s been DJing for over 15 years now, but the worldwide success of the label has brought him legions of new fans that have cottoned on to his smooth deep house grooves. His access to a raft of unreleased Innervisions material certainly helps his cause.
Erol Alkan
Erol Alkan has lent his Midas touch to every carefully undertaken project since the early 1990’s, from infamous club night Trash, fabled residencies including Bugged Out, and a dizzying production rosta including his own aliases, “Mustapha 3000” Phantasy Label and “Beyond the Wizards Sleeve”, also producing for some of the hottest talent around. Erol has since found another outlet for his desire to share his favourite music via the radio station BBC 6 Music, where his succession of 6 Mixes initiated listeners into all kinds of brilliant music. Erol’s eternal mission to create and sustain the excitement only great records can provide means scouring shops and submerging himself into the tidal wave of music he gets sent, in the hope – usually realised – that he’ll dig out an amazing tune no-one else knows about.
Eskimo Twins
Since meeting at university in Leeds, these two friends have shared their passion for music. After graduating, the pair immersed themselves in the city's clubbing and live music scene and began to make music together. After agreeing on their mutual appreciation of Techno, Classic House, Indie, Acid, Electro, and their lingering teenage love of Metal; the Twins busied themselves with tweaking and crafting a dark electronic sound, inter-mangled with their penchant for twisted pop sensibilities.
Fake Blood
After his 12 months stint shrouded in mystery, his true identity was revealed to an unsuspecting public as Theo Keating, Touche and as one half of The Black Ghosts. Fake Blood’s original productions have included the massive hits, “Mars” and “Blood Splashing (Fake Blood Theme)” and has remixed the likes of, Little Boots, Underworld, Unkle, Sinden and more.

Floating Points
Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points is hailed as one of the finest producers the country has to offer, with each production showcasing his ability to intertwine the sounds of soul, gospel, blues, jazz, dub and house to create anthemic arrangements of aural beauty. One of the driving forces behind Eglo Records and the first artist to release on the label, it’s fair to say that the young Mr Shepherd contributes a large piece to the Eglo puzzle. A neuroscientist by day, DJ/Producer/Composer by night, Floating Points knows no bounds when it comes to creativity and expression. Classically trained from a young age and with a strong passion for Jazz, Floating Points has progressed into one of the worlds most exciting producers, as well as one of the club scenes leading DJ’s.
Four Tet
Four Tet is the electronic outlet for the solo work of Keiran Hebden. Hebden’s solo work typically utilises samples lifted from various sources including hip-hop, electronica, techno, jazz, and folk mixed with his own guitar playing. Hebden’s music is notable for its rich, organic sounds and harmonious melodies as well as for eschewing the traditional pop-song format in favour of a more abstract approach.
Heidi
Throughout the last few years Heidi has played the world’s best clubs including Fabric, Panoramabar, Womb, Space Ibiza, with residencies at Watergate and Monza, having played on every continent except Antarctica in 2009 alone. The Radio 1 DJ launched her own travelling club event series called The Jackathon which has hosted some of the biggest names in EDM.
Ivan Smagghe
Ivan Smagghe is a French DJ and producer. He was His musical style has been described as electrohouse and "minimal electro". Smagghe's "Death Disco" compilation was a key release in the electroclash genre. He formed Black Strobe in 1997 with Arnaud Rebotini, but left in 2006. He is also a member of the Volga Select project, with Marc Collin. This man is a must see artist.
Jamie XX
The beat-maker and knob shaker from The XX, Jamie XX is also a prolific remix artist and producer leaning heavily toward everything big beats and wob-wob-wobbly. Having turned his hand to the likes of Florence and the Machine, Gil Scott-Heron and Adele to name a few, few can match this talented young producer's prowess right now.
Jesse Rose
As well as his own production slate, which includes the massive ‘A-sided’ on Dubsided, Jesse has remixed the likes of Riton, Radio Slave, Elite Force, Kosma & Trevor Loveys to name a few. Jesse can also be found producing alongside Dave Taylor AKA Solid Groove/Switch under the guises of Induceve and alongside Trevor Loveys as izit?
Joy Orbison
“Cool” uncles have always gotten kids into all kinds of wonderful mischief, but 22-year-old Peter O’Grady from London , better known as Joy Orbison, was especially blessed. He credits uncle Ray Keith with introducing him to jungle and U.K. garage long before he could ever hit the clubs. At the age of 13 he took up DJing and eventually moved into production.
Justice
Xavier de Rosnay & Gaspard Augé are Justice, where the melodies are ripped to shreds by the beats, where electro teaches rock a lesson and where pop gets a botox injection. A generational manifest, ideally positioned on the side of the dancefloor, «†», insolent with youth, is a testimony that the French electro scene is healthier than ever. Justice first.
Loco Dice
Tunisian born and Düsseldorf dwelling cataclysmic DJ and producer Loco Dice harbours a cyclonic global touring schedule and productions on labels such as Ovum, M-nus, Cadenza, Cocoon and Four Twenty, and founding label Desolat in 2007 with Martin Buttrich, Loco Dice is an artist continually and unyieldingly developing and fine tuning his style and sound year upon year.
Luciano
Luciano's mixed Swiss & Chilean identity shows in his music, a somewhat mystical blend of deep techno & electro that integrates southern elements in rhythms and colorful patterns in sound. His collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos (Playhouse, Perlon, Warp, Force Inc etc.) as Sense Club are especially rewarding, as is his partnership with Pier Bucci and Argenix Brito as Monne Automne and the seminal label, Cadenza.
Martyn
Martyn’s unique strand of bass defies easy categorisation - to his fans and admirers, it’s known simply as ‘Martyn Music.’ With a sound that has become emblematic for all that’s forward thinking in dubstep. Informed by a love for Detroit techno, Chicago house and hip-hop, encountering drum & bass in its mid-90’s golden era was the catalyst for him to develop his musical ideas and begin to lay the foundations of his career as a DJ & Producer.
Matt Walsh
Turbo Recordings' Matt Walsh is well known for his varied music style ranging from New Wave, Acid House and Disco to Electronic House and Techno. Also producing under his “Clouded Vision” alias, Matt Walsh has lent his hand to remixes for the likes of Moby and Brodinski.
Moderat
Moderat’s formation began back in 2002 in Berlin, Germany when Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (aka Modeselektor) recorded an EP for the record label Bpitch Control. 2008 saw the reunion of this project and the three members of Moderat went back to the studio to continue working together and finally released their 1st full album ”Moderat” in April 2009.
Modeselektor
Modeselektor is an electronic music band formed in Berlin, featuring Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. The group draws heavily from IDM, glitch, electro and hip hop. In 2000 Modeselektor met Ellen Allien, making BPitch Control their home label. Modeselektor has also been involved in collaborative efforts; Moderat - a musical collaboration between Modeselektor and Apparat,
Ralph Lawson
Ralph Lawson has played a huge role in the warm wave of electronic music that's swept across underground dance music for the past two decades. Lawson is widely regarded as being one the very best House DJs in the world. He currently holds residencies at Back To Basics Leeds, We Love Space Ibiza and Barcelona’s The Loft as well as regular appearances at Berlin’s Watergate and London’s Fabric.
Richie Hawtin
Although technically a Canadian, Richie Hawtin will forever be associated with putting his beloved Detroit on the dance music map. A hugely successful DJ / producer, a record label owner in the form of M-Nus and alter moniker Plastikman, few can claim a cv of this calibre within the electronic music circuit.
Roman Flugel
Roman Flugel is back for round two, one of the biggest names in the German electronic music scene, active since the early 1990's from the serrated edged acidic electro of ‘Alter Ego’ to the soothing ‘Sensorama’, Flugel is a chameleon visiting many styles from ambient/idm to house, techno, electro and leftfield.
Roska
Real name Wayne Goodlitt, Roska has become one of the true success stories of the UK funky scene, unleashing a flurry of raw and percussive singles and a debut LP over the last two years and managing to gain a wide base of international support in the process. While Roska has been firmly stamped as UK Funky, his sound flirts with a variety of genres incorporating elements of Electro, House, Garage and Dubstep.
Scuba
Hotflush label-boss, Scuba tours the globe delivering his delicious sets including hotspots such as Berlin's Panorama Bar. Always demonstrating his passion for adventurous musical journeys through the deep end of house, dubstep and techno as one of the most tasteful and skilled UK producers on the radar.
Seth Troxler
Once upon a time, Satan shat out a crystal, squeezing it through a body cavity resembling Chinese-restaurant pork. That crystal, glowing red with embers, was Seth Troxler. Troxler draws most of his inspiration from Robert Downey Jr.; we must release Downey from his shackles, Troxler says, so that the actor can finally do heroin in peace. Troxler also enjoys cooking, long walks on the beach, and candle-lit dinners.
Simian Mobile Disco
Simian Mobile Disco is an English production and remix team. Formed from the ashes of Simian in 2005 its members are James Ford and Jas Shaw. In addition to his work with Simian Mobile Disco, James Ford is a producer and has worked for bands such as the Arctic Monkeys, Peaches and Klaxons.
Sven Väth
Techno heavyweight Sven Väth is internationally known for the hero behind Ibizan stalwart club night Cocoon, Sven Väth has set the pace for more than 20 years now, this star DJ and producer’s inimitable feeling for music has kept him one step ahead. An eternal visionary, he has devoted his life to the further development of electronic music and the promotion of all art forms in club culture.
Tensnake
Marco Niemerski is an ex-mod and goth/grunge buff from Hamburg known as Tensnake, now an electronic producer influenced by the disco and house eras, with some extra inspiration from early-80s electro-funk. He combines the current vogue for space funk and cosmic disco, fusing lo-fi jams and electronic sounds with old school melodies and laidback vibes.
Tiga
Tiga is a DJ/producer who has effectively worked the underground and the mainstream with his wry brand of campy electro and stark techno. Whilst DJing and promoting parties, Tiga opened one of the earliest techno-only record stores, DNA and also started the Turbo Recordings label.
Vitalic
Vitalic is the alter ego of Pascal Arbez, a French programmer/multi-instrumentalist creating music since the mid 1990s, who blends electro, techno, and house -- as well as elements of classical, rock, Italo-disco, and '70s electronic music. Since International DJ Gigolo released Vitalic's Poney EP in 2001, his expansive yet hard-hitting sound has become staples in sets by DJs as varied as Aphex Twin, Princess Superstar, and 2 Many DJ's.
XY-Me
Wax:On Music - XYME EP Launch. XYMe are a collective 3 piece hailing from the north east. John-Paul Denton is a Producer and DJ who has worked on everything from recording rock bands to producing TV adverts, now in the XY-Me collective he brings his years of technical wizardry to the Techno scene. Peter Wilson and Simon Lister aka ‘People Get Real’ have been astounding and destroying dancefloors for many years and have honed their talent to a marksman’s precision. Working with John-Paul they bring their dancefloor know how to the XY-Me party.
